See below for booking details. It will be held at: ?"Fablewood" 64 Sunnyside Road (640 metres off Princes Hwy, north of village) CENTRAL TILBA Roz Wood is an experienced vegetable grower whose sustainable 4 acre garden is run on permaculture principles. Through composting and mulching she has a no-dig, low-water garden that is ?heaving with life? and producing the beautiful vegetable she sells at the Tilba Growers Market each week. Come and see her system (and photographs of the process at each stage) to learn how you too can have soil that is teaming with life and retaining its moisture. You might want to bring something to take notes. Entry is free but places are limited so you?ll need to book early. Please contact Ros Barr to book a place, preferably by sending an email to rossiebarr at hotmail.com or if that is not possible, by phone on 4473 7929. From relax at greengables.com.au Tue Sep 8 17:04:53 2009 From: relax at greengables.com.au (Green Gables Bed & Breakfast) Date: Tue, 8 Sep 2009 17:04:53 +1000 Subject: [tttplus] seed savers Message-ID: <005b01ca3052$aaa5bb00$fff13100$@com.au> Last Saturday at the Tilba market the seed swap/exchange event occurred. Bega Valley Seed Savers very kindly donated a large quantity of various seeds for the event and a number of people brought their seeds in as well. The interest was encouraging and having seed as a continuing part of the market was discussed. The suggested outcome was that there could be an un-maned seed table added on to the TTTplus table. As well I find myself the very pleased custodian of a lovely seed collection courtesy of Bega Seed Savers. I am able to set this up and collect each week at the market. I'll parcel the bulk seed up into envelopes and at the market, if people want seed they can either swap or make a donation. I would like to think this is the beginning of a seed saver network in the Tilba area. If you have fresh seed that you want to share you can exchange or donate by leaving it at the table. I'll take it from there. If there is anyone who wants to be a part of this please contact me. Philip PS Big thanks to Carolyn for her direction and assistance in getting this going.
